CHICAGO (Reuters) - Federal Reserve policymakers sit down on Tuesday for what might be one of their most difficult interest rate decisions in years.
Financial markets are confident that the Federal Open Market Committee will opt to keep the benchmark federal funds rate at 5.25 percent, pausing a string of 17 increases stretching back to June 2004.
